Saturday was full of music, food, fundraising, and of course hope.
The annual Parkinson’s Superwalk took place at the Tom Gavey Pavilion at West Zwick’s Park in downtown Belleville.
The fun run included raffles, food sponsored by Subway, a 50/50 draw, and of course the walk itself.
Stephanie Bruder has been the local organizer for the walk for the past eight years. She also has Parkinson’s. She says it always blows her away to see the amazing support.
Although the final tally is not known, it is believed the fundraiser will bring in $20,000 to $25,000.
