A partnership that has been going on for years, is getting even stronger.
On Saturday morning, at Leon’s Superstore Trenton, dignitaries, media, Quinte West councillors , military members, and the Trenton Golden Hawks were on hand for a special announcement.
This fall Leon’s will begin selling the third jersey of the Trenton Golden Hawks. It will honour the region’s military history, and support the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation.
John McDonald is the Business Manager of the Trenton Golden Hawks. He praised Leon’s for stepping up in the community.
Mike Eden is the Manager of Leon’s Superstore Trenton. He says teaming up with the TMHF, the Buy-A-Bed program, and the Trenton Golden Hawks was perfect.
Wendy Warner is the Executive Director of the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation. She applauds the partnership between Leon’s and the G-Hawks to support a great cause.
The third jerseys will be $100, with $40 from each going to the Buy-A-Bed campaign. It will go to purchase four new beds for Trenton Memorial Hospital. Two hundred jerseys sold will equal a new bed for the hospital.
