Disturbance/ LLA
On September 7, 2018 at 7:57 a.m., police responded to a complaint of a male standing in the area of Pinnacle Street. It was reported that the male was causing a disturbance. Investigation resulted in a 48-year-old Belleville man being arrested and charged with Being Intoxicated in a Public Place.
On September 8, 2018 at 2:26 a.m., police received a request for assistance with a crowd of patrons from a North Front St business. Investigation of the disturbance resulted in a 19-year-old Trenton man being arrested and charged for Being Intoxicated in a Public Place.
Traffic Complaint
On September 7, 2018 at 11:02 a.m., police received a complaint about aggressive driving in the area of a school on Victoria Ave. It was reported that a green Mustang spun 360 degrees while leaving the school and may have had two flat tires. Investigation resulted in a 16-year-old male being charged for Stunt Driving and the vehicle was towed.
On September 7, 2018 at 4:47 p.m., police were contacted by a driver that had been following a Black Nissan vehicle into Belleville from Picton and it was believed that the driver of the black Nissan was impaired.
Investigation resulted in the driver of the Nissan being arrested and subsequently charged for Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Operation of Motor Vehicle with more than 80 mgs of alcohol. Szilard Czippan, 20, of Toronto is scheduled to appear in court on September 27, 2018.
