It’s steady as she goes as far as the building business in the City of Belleville.
To the end of August, building permits with a total value of almost 71 million dollars have been issued.
For the same period last year, the value was a little higher, at 73.6 million.
Meanwhile, so far this year, building permits for 137 new single family houses have been issued in Belleville.
In the City of Quinte West it’s been another strong year as far as construction goes.
To the end of August, 616 building permits have been issued for a total value of 85.6 million dollars.
The value of permits issued for the same period last year was slightly higher, at 87.6 million.
So far this year, permits for 138 new single family homes have been issued in Quinte West.
