It was a busy Labour Day for Mohawk and Tyendinaga Township firefighters.
They were called out to an unfinished and vacant residential/commercial building on Old Highway 2 west of Deseronto just before 7 o’clock last night.
The structure was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived.
Mohawk Fire Chief Scott Maracle says the cause is suspicious and the Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office has been called to investigate for a cause.
There were no injuries.
