An international field of disabled sailors from across Canada and the United States converged on Halifax Nova Scotia for the Mobility Cup Sailing Regatta. That included three members of the local “Quinte Sailability”.
Nicole Flynn of Madoc finished on the podium with a third place finish in the Silver Division. Flynn was also named the “Rookie of the Year”.

Brett Lyons of Frankford had a 5th place finish in the Gold Class. Kai Freeland of Belleville was 11th in the Silver Class.
“Quinte Sailability” is part of the Able Sail Network which invites individuals with a disability to enjoy the freedom and exhilaration of sailing. The program was was inaugurated by Dennis Fletcher and John Gower.
