Public Intoxication
Belleville Police responded to numerous disturbances at various locations throughout the city. Six persons were arrested for public intoxication in unrelated incidents. They were all released once sober.
Causing a Disturbance by Fighting
Belleville Police attended a business on North Front Street with regard to a male suspect fighting with patrons of the establishment at 3 a.m. Police arrested the drunken male who was on an undertaking condition not to consume alcohol – 19-year-old Derek Hokkanen of Belleville was charged with fail to comply with an undertaking and causing a disturbance by fighting. He was later released and will appear in Belleville court in early October.
