Trillium Wood Golf Club hosted their annual club championship this past Saturday and Sunday and it was electrifying finish for the Men’s division. Jake Moffat and Richard Edwards tied with a two-day total of 150; and the crowds rushed down to the first hole for a thrilling playoff showdown. Jake was able to pull off the victory with a par on the first playoff hole.
Richard Edwards ended up in 2nd place, Eric Kruger took 3rd place with a two-day total of 151 and Steve Edwards took 4th place with a two-day total of 155.
Low net winners in the Mens division were 1st Jodie Jenkins with a total of 148, 2nd Tom Deakin with 148, 3rd Garry Devolin with 149, and 4th Joey Boretski with 150.
In the Senior Men’s Division, Phil Howlett took the title of Club Champion, by shooting an opening day 75, followed by day two score at 71 to post a two-day total of 146. Second was Grant Anstey at 155. Low net winners were Glen Parsneau with a two-day total of 144 and Doug Beale with a two-day total of 144.
Caroline Deans took the title of Ladies Club Champion by shooting a two-day total of 158.
In the Senior Ladies Division, low gross went to Mary Maidment with a total of 150 to add to her trophy shelf her impressive 5th Senior Women’s Club Champion title. Low net winner was Kim Tully with a total of 143.
