A Prince Edward County man has been handed a suspended sentence and 12 months probation after pleading guilty to break and enter and theft charges.
Stefan Popa, 30, of Demorestville was sentenced Wednesday for his role in separate break-ins at a residence on Victoria Road early in May.
Previously, a co-accused, 55-year-old Richard Derusha of Sophiasburgh, received the same sentence on similar charges.
