Council in Prince Edward County got tripped up by some sidewalk construction discussion.
They approved sidewalk construction at their meeting on Tuesday night at Shire Hall as the 2018 capital budget allocated for the construction of existing sidewalks and new sidewalks. The tender also included gutter repairs.
The contract was awarded to Parkside Landscaping and Contracting at a cost of $12,255 plus tax.
Councillor Kevin Gale wanted to know why the worst of the worst hasn’t been touched yet.
Commissioner of Engineering, Development and Works Robert McAuley says that work he believes is part of the ongoing pumping station work.
