The Belleville Police Service responded to 60 calls for service between August 27, 2018 at 5 a.m. and August 28, 2018 at 5 a.m.
Domestic Assault
On August 27, 2018 police were called to a west end residence in regards to a domestic incident. As a result of the investigation, a male was arrested for domestic assault and released on a promise to appear with a September court date.
Break and Enter
On August 28, 2018 Belleville Police Service responded to a glass break alarm in a north end retail store. Several items were taken including fishing equipment. The investigation is continuing.
