Tyendinaga Police are seeking the public’s assistance.
On August 21, 2018 at approximately 4:11 p.m., an unknown suspect committed an armed robbery at the “Medibles” Cannabis Dispensary located at 43 Dundas Street, Tyendinaga Territory. The suspect entered the store and brandished a large kitchen knife while wearing pantyhose over his face and carrying a large black travel bag. The suspect demanded the store employees fill the bag with various cannabis products.

The suspect then fled on foot with the bag, eastbound on Dundas Street and then entered an escape vehicle waiting for him in the Town of Deseronto. The escape vehicle is described as an older model silver/grey minivan, possibly a Dodge Caravan. The vehicle was being driven by an accomplice who is identified only as a white male and is believed to have brandished a hand gun towards a witness. The vehicle fled eastbound on Highway 2 into the Town of Napanee and then northbound on Centre Street towards the 401.
The robbery suspect is identified as a white man, 30 – 50 yrs old, approximately 5’6” tall, athletic build with male pattern balding. He was wearing a black Carhartt hoodie, black shorts and black Jordan shoes.
