Belleville council will discuss recommendations regarding traffic flows involving the city’s busy North Front Street at its meeting Monday.
Council’s Traffic Advisory Committee is recommending not allowing left turns on to Donald Street from North Front Street. Donald Street is near the McDonald’s Restaurant and the intersection has been the scene of several collisions.
Also, the traffic committee is recommending not allowing left turns on to North Front Street from King George Square and Evans Street.
If council approves the recommendations, there would be a six month trial period to study the affects of the changes.
