This year’s Day of Caring helped a United Way goal come true.
The United Way of Hastings Prince Edward held an appreciation barbecue today to thank all the sponsors and volunteers who helped make their community garden dreams a reality.
Back on June 26, Procter and Gamble, Aviva, Rona, CrossBorder Solutions, Kool Koatings, Parkside Landscaping and Canadian Tire all came together at 55 Harriet Street to put together a community garden and gathering place behind the United Way building.
