The Wellington Dukes and Trenton Golden Hawks kicked off their Ontario Junior Hockey League exhibition season last night at the Dunc McDonald Community Gardens.
Wellington skated to a 5-1 victory. Dalton Bancroft led the Dukes with a goal and assist.
Keenan Eddy, Jacob Vreugdenhil, Tyson Gilmour and Nate Boomhower also scored while Adam Usinger had two assists for the Dukes. Tyler Iggnzitto responded for the Golden Hawks.
Trenton is right back at it tonight (Thurs) when they host the Brantford 99ers at 7:30. Wellington is home to Kingston tomorrow night (Fri) at 7:30.
