Members of the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Team were searching the Trent River today (Wednesday) in the area of a murder on Saturday.
According to Today’s Northumberland, Scott McDonald was gunned down in the area around 4:15 a.m. on Church Street in Trent Hills.
He was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Underwater Search and Recovery Team were using metal detectors to search near the shore but a diver was also looking for any sign of a weapon or evidence.
There have been no arrests made, but the investigation is ongoing.
