The municipal election is still several weeks away, but they’re getting an early start on campaigning in the Municipality of Brighton tomorrow (Thursday).
The Brighton-Cramahe Chamber of Commerce is hosting a “meet the candidates” event at the King Edward Park Community Centre in Brighton starting at 6 p.m.
Two people are running to be Mayor of Brighton. They are incumbent Mark Walas and current councillor Brian Ostrander.
Current councillor Laura Vink is running to be Deputy-Mayor against former councillor Thomas Rittwage.
Eleven people are running for five councillor positions.
