Two people were found dead at a home in the City of Kawartha Lakes yesterday (Sunday) morning.
OPP found a 51-year-old woman and a 63-year-old man dead of gunshot wounds at a residence near Emily Provincial Park, which is northwest of Peterborough.
Police say a preliminary investigation showed the woman was murdered.
OPP say there is no threat to public safety.
