A delegation of four members of Belleville Council will be joining a large contingent of other municipal leaders in Ottawa for the Association of Municipalities of Ontario Conference next week.
The delegation, led by Mayor Taso Christopher, will be speaking with Paul Calandra, Parliamentary Assistant to Minister of Energy, Mines, Northern Development and Indigenous Affairs Greg Rickford.
The topics of focus include trade, climate change, Indigenous relations, rural economic development and much more.
The AMO Conference runs Sunday, August 19 to Wednesday, August 22.
