A nearly week-long lockdown at Collins Bay Institution is over.
Acting Assistant Warden Heather Hyndman says the lockdown had been in effect between August 8 and August 13, while a search was conducted and that a number of unauthorized items were found.
No detail was given on what those items were.
Hyndman says normal operations have resumed and visits are being allowed again as well.
