A Quinte West man will serve time in a federal prison after being convicted on historical sex charges.
Serge Beaudry was charged in December of 2015 after a man told police he had been assaulted in the past, beginning when he was 10 years old.
Beaudry, who was 52 at the time of the investigation, was charged with one count each of sexual assault, sexual interference with someone under 16 and invitation to sexual touching with someone under 16.
In Napanee court recently, Beaudry was sentenced to 30 months in custody, a 10 year weapons prohibition and will be placed on a sex offender registry.
