Police investigating after a bike was stripped of some major parts while locked up at a secure rack in the east end of Belleville.
The theft is believed to have occurred early Thursday afternoon.
A woman left work following her shift and found her bicycle stripped of the handlebar, brake grips and seat.
The bike is described as a white 18-speed “Louis Garneau,” worth about $300.
Police are also looking for a stolen car that was taken from an east parking lot between 11:30 Wednesday night and 10 a.m. Thursday.
It’s a 2007 grey Chrysler 300 with Ontario plates BTNE-781.
