A 39-year-old man is facing weapons, and driving charges, after a traffic stop in The County Wednesday.
Around 10:40 a.m., officers responded to a crash at Highway 62 and Victoria Road.
Donnie Lemmon was found to have a suspended licence, and is alleged to have been using a licence plate without authorization.
He is also accused of having a firearm in the vehicle.
Donnie Lemmon was held for bail to answer to the charges of:
Under the Criminal Code of Canada:
Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle,
Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.
Under the Highway traffic Act, Lemmon was charged with;
Driving while under suspension
Drive motor vehicle, no validation on plate
Fail to apply permit on becoming owner
Use plate not authorized
Use validation not furnished for vehicle
