Centre Hastings Fire Chief Bob Branscombe has lifted the burn ban.
He says the rain yesterday helped conditions enough to lift the fire ban.
Branscombe reminds people the requirements of the burning by-law must be followed for open air burning and a simple explanation of the by-law can be found on the Municipal web site under fire department.
