Stirling-Rawdon council will move ahead and finish up upgrades on Springbrook Road.
The west side of Springbrook Road was just completed and came in significantly under budget.
Almost $300,000 was saved by not replacing a huge culvert that still had years of useful life left.
Tuesday, council decided to begin work on the west side of the road, hoping to have the entire
job finished by next summer.
Cost of the entire upgrade is estimated at $1.5 million.
A 6 kilometre stretch of Springbrook Road is involved.
