Twenty-two local small businesses are benefitting from some money through the Trenval Business Development Corporation.
Trenval’s Small Business Centre is providing a total of $84,000 from the Starter Company Plus program, to businesses in Belleville, Quinte West, Hastings and Prince Edward Counties.
Some of the businesses are newly created, but others are using the funding to support and expand operations.
Trenval also says it is looking for the next batch of entrepreneurs, 18 years of age or older, to submit for the next mentoring and funding allocation in October.
