The City of Belleville issued 83 building permits for the month of July, with an estimated construction value of $5.9 million.
Two new commercial buildings have a construction value of $905,000.
To date, $42.7 million in construction projects have been undertaken in the city.
This is a decrease from last year, which saw $67.1 million in building projects by the end of July.
To date, the City has issued 508 permits.
