Long time Thurlow Reeve George Beer has died.
Beer also served as a Belleville councillor in Ward 2 at the time of amalgamation.
He served on Belleville council from 1998 to 2006.
Beer had around a quarter century of time serving the community.
He, along with his wife Betty co-chaired a campaign for the United Way
