A 39-year-old Kingston woman will appear in court today to face multiple charges including assaulting a police officer, according to Prince Edward County OPP.
On Saturday morning, just after 7 a.m. officers were called to a disturbance on County Rd. 22 just outside of Picton.
Police say a domestic between the woman and her male partner had occurred, causing the woman to act aggressively towards the man.
She also drove her vehicle at the man and into a building, repeatedly, on the property before assaulting both officers attempting to arrest her.
She is facing charges of impaired operation of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, domestic assault, domestic mischief and two counts of assaulting police.
No serious injuries were sustained in the incident.
