UPDATE @ 11:53 a.m.: Napanee OPP have charged 24-year-old Varinder Mann of Brampton with careless driving in an accident this morning that caused some major delays on the eastbound 401 near Napanee.
Officers were called to a collision between two transports east of Palace Road this morning around 6:15.
Police say one transport collided with a parked transport that was on the side of the highway.
There were no injuries but one lane was closed to remove one transport.
All lanes are open but some delays are still expected during recovery say police.
ORIGINAL STORY:
There was a crash Monday morning, east of Napanee.
Crews were called around 6:30 a.m. to the eastbound lanes of 401, between Palace Road and the Camden East exit.
There has been no detail on the severity of the collision, however it is down to one lane in the area.
Callers to our newsroom say two tractor trailers are involved and cleanup could take several hours.
