The Town of Greater Napanee has now issued a total burn ban, joining many other municipalities locally.
Fire Prevention Officer Kevin Duncan stated in a press release the burn ban, put in place today, prohibits any fires in open air and any activities that may start a fire.
The ban was put in place due to the extremely dry conditions which are expected to continue.
