Construction is underway to grow the FedEx facility in Belleville’s Northeast Industrial Park.
Meredith Miller, the manager of FedEx Ground External Communications told Quinte News the project will add 20,000 square feet to the facility currently located on College Street East.
When completed she says the building will total over 48,000 square feet and enable them to boost daily package volume capacity and further enhance the speed and service capabilities of the FedEx Ground network.
FedEx took out a $1.37 million building permit in June for the expansion.
