A blaze in Quinte West Monday night was not only large, but it was also difficult to get to.
Around 8:45 pm, Quinte West fire stations 1 & 3 (Trenton & Bayside), were called to a wooded area around Connolly Avenue, RCAF Road and Dixon Drive.

Whalen says 35 firefighters helped battle the blaze which was finally shut down around 11:00 pm.
Military police and the OPP are investigating.
Thankfully there were no injuries.
