There will be a happy Habitat for Humanity Hastings-Prince Edward organization after a Quinte West council meeting Monday night.
At that meeting, council is expected to finalize the donation of land at 79 Leopold Street in Trenton to the local Habitat group.
An unused and deteriorating Leopold Centre building and a storage structure currently stand on the property.
Habitat for Humanity would be responsible for demolition and environmental costs.
The plan is for four homes to be built on the land, hopefully by the end of 2020.
