It’s been hot and dry and forest fire season is in full swing just about everywhere.
Locally, there’s a 2.5 hectare fire in Central Frontenac, northwest of Napanee and north of Tamworth.
The forest fire started Thursday, and local firefighters along with Ministry of Natural Resources water bombers were working on it.
Central Frontenac firefighters will return to the location Friday morning.
It’s not known if any structures have burned.
