Charges have been laid after someone deposited fraudulent cheques and then withdrew cash from a bank in Belleville on July 5.
City police began an investigation after a complaint from a customer at the bank.
Facing charges of uttering a forged document and breach of probation is 38-year-old Ronald Trafford of Norwood.
