The decades go by quickly and the Belleville Waterfront and Multicultural Festival is celebrating its 40th anniversary this weekend.

Organized by the Belleville Chamber of Commerce, admission is free, but there will be a $5 charge per vehicle for parking. The City of Belleville is offering free shuttle bus service to the festival from the Quinte Mall and the downtown bus terminal on Pinnacle Street.
As always, there will be food and fun for all ages, and the multicultural food village will feature cuisine from 11 nations.
The midway will open at 11 a.m. Friday through Sunday and entertainment of all kinds runs during the day and into the night.
