A traffic stop in Alnwick-Haldimand has led to drug charges for two Oshawa men.
Northumberland OPP were conducting the RIDE program on County Road 45, the evening of July 4 and officers noticed a vehicle pull a u-turn several metres away from the check point.
Officers stopped the vehicle and found evidence of drugs inside, causing them to further investigate and lay charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000.
Both men, aged 20 and 21, will have hearings in Cobourg court in early August.
