A 30-year-old Belleville man faces charges after a domestic dispute involving a woman at a residence in the central-west part of the city just before noon Monday.
The man was charged with assault, mischief under $5,000 and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
His identity won’t be released to protect the identity of the victim.
Meanwhile, Belleville police dealt with two motor vehicle collisions Monday.
Just before 1 o’clock, there was a collision involving three cars on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road near Old Highway 2. One vehicle had to be towed and a passenger suffered arm injuries. A 64-year-old man was charged with careless driving.
And just after 3 o’clock, there was a two-vehicle collision at Bridge Street East and Pinnacle Street.
No one was injured but an 83-year-old man was charged with failing to stop at a red light.
