Quick response kept a small fire from becoming dangerous early Monday morning in Prince Edward County.
At 3 o’clock, firefighters were called to 3130 County Road 3, better known as the Rednersville Road, after reports that a house was full of smoke.
The residents had left the home, located in the area of Old Orchard Road, safely.
A dryer had caught fire and the flames were knocked down quickly and the home ventilated.
An investigation continues.
