Belleville council will see a detailed report about the city’s financial situation at its meeting Monday afternoon.
The auditor’s report shows the city with financial assets of $150.3 million at the end of 2017, up from $141.4 million in 2016.
Tangible capital assets are up to $623.7 million from $592.9 million in 2016.
Meanwhile, municipal debt is down to $96.7 million from $102.7 million the year before.
But the city’s liabilities went up by $20 million to $184.4 million at the end of last year.
