The Belleville Police Service responded to 65 calls for service between July 6, 2018 at 5 a.m. and July 7, 2018 at 5 a.m.
Motor vehicle collisions with injuries
Two people were taken to hospital following two separate collisions in the city yesterday.
Belleville Police were called to Bell Blvd. at Hannafin Road at 10:30 a.m. for a two-vehicle collision.
One driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries by paramedics.
One driver was charged with following too closely.
The second incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. and officers responded to the area of North Front and Evans Streets for a two-vehicle collision.
One of the drivers was taken to hospital with a head injury.
Police charged one of the drivers with start from a stopped position not in safety.
Stolen ATV
Belleville Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a stolen ATV.
Officers were called to a home in the village of Cannifton at 7 a.m. on Friday morning for a report of a stolen four wheeler.
Sometime overnight, the dark green 2000 Grizzly 600 ATV was taken.
