Work at the Glen Ross Lock and Swing Bridge Rehabilitation project in Campbellford is behind schedule according to Parks Canada.
The project, which began in December last year is now expected to wrap up in early September.
The delays have been caused by late arriving bridge components essential to the operation of Glen Ross Swing Bridge.
While awaiting bridge components, the contractor continues to complete concrete work on the bridge abutment and this week concrete for the hydraulic trenches will be placed.
Once completed, the bridge will have a full highway load rating.
