OPP have laid mischief charges against a Loyalist Township man after a number of acts of vandalism west of Kingston.
Napanee OPP were called early in the afternoon on Canada Day after reports a man had pulled the eaves trough down on the Bath United Church and put holes into the side panelling of a shed on the church property.
Investigators say when leaving the scene, the man allegedly smashed the window of a 2016 black Nissan Versa.
While being taken into custody, it’s alleged that the man became verbally abusive and threatened the arresting officers.
Thirty-seven-year-old Randy Bienias is charged with four counts of mischief under $5,000, three counts of breaching probation, two counts of uttering threats and one count of marijuana possession.
He had a Tuesday bail hearing in Napanee.
