It was a normal month of June as far as temperatures go in the Quinte region.
The average high was just over 23 degrees celsius while the average low was a little over 11 degrees, both near long term normals.
However, it was a lot wetter than usual last month with almost 101 mm of rain falling in the area according to Environment Canada.
The usual rain amount for a June in these parts is 78 mm.
The heaviest rains came on June 3 with 26 mm falling and on June 13 when 29 mm of rain pelted our area.
