It wasn’t perfect, but management at Quinte Healthcare is proud of its staff’s accomplishments in the past year when it comes
to quality of care for patients at its four hospitals.
President of QHC, Mary Clare Egberts told the Board of Directors Tuesday that the organization achieved five of seven goals in the 2017/18
“balanced scorecard.”
On wait times, four of six targets were met or surpassed, while the two targets that didn’t meet expectations only missed the mark by a fraction.
One wait time category, for MRIs, was over 10% off target, but that was due to downtime because the technology had to be upgraded.
