A Brighton man is facing several charges, following a fraud investigation in Presqu’ile.
Northumberland OPP fielded complaints from the Presqu’ile Lighthouse Preservation Society and the Brighton Auxiliary Rescue Unit.
Following an extensive investigation, the Crime Unit arrested 40-year-old Michael Nicholson.
He is charged with theft and fraud over $5,000 and breach of trust.
It had previously been reported in January that the Presquile Lighthouse Society was missing at least $55,000.
Nicholson has a July 25 court date.
