Good news for residents using the Tweed water system.
The municipality says the boil water advisory, in effect since Monday, has been lifted.
The precautionary advisory was put in place after the municipal water system lost pressure on the weekend.
Multiple water tests by Hastings and Prince Edward Public Health have come back clean and the town’s water is safe to drink again.
The municipality is thanking residents for their cooperation and the City of Belleville for sending its Quench Buggy out to help provide water to residents in the meantime.
