Both of Canada’s national ball hockey teams had to settle for silver at the World Ball Hockey Championships in Russia.
On the women’s side, the Canucks fell 2-1 in a shootout to the host Russians, while the men dropped a 4-2 decision to the Czech Republic.
The Canadian Women’s team included Belleville’s Jami Adams and Jalene McCulloch.
Belleville’s Patrick Millington and Patrick Geen were with the Men’s club.
