The Hastings Prince Edward District School Board approved a number of mechanical renewal and replacement projects at their meeting Monday night.
The projects at Trenton High School, Prince Edward Collegiate and Centennial Secondary total $2.8 million.
Ferguson Electrical was awarded the project at Centennial Secondary to replace various electrical and mechanical components such as electrical panels at a cost of $951,460. That project will span two years.
Work at PECDI will be very similar and that project was awarded to Strong Bros. General Contracting at a cost of $1.3 million.
The work at Trenton High School includes the replacement of terminal heating and cooling units at a cost of $548,750.
